Among the 5,017 polling stations set up for local bodies elections in Karachi, not a single one is normal; all the polling stations have been declared sensitive and highly sensitive. Among the sensitive districts, Central District tops the list followed by Korangi.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up 5,017 polling stations in Karachi for the second phase of local body elections, scheduled for July 24, out of which 3,515 have been declared sensitive and 1,502 highly sensitive. Thus, no polling station is normal.

According to the data, 906 out of 1,266 polling stations in Central District have been declared sensitive and 360 highly sensitive. Similarly, 470 sensitive and 296 highly sensitive out of 766 polling stations in Korangi, 283 sensitive and 273 highly sensitive out of 556 total polling stations in Keamari, 278 sensitive and 202 highly sensitive out of 480 polling stations in South District. Out of 799 polling stations in East District, 643 are sensitive and 156 are highly sensitive. In West District, 530 are sensitive and 111 are highly sensitive out of 641 polling stations while 405 are sensitive and 104 are highly sensitive out of 509 polling stations in Malir District.
