Notorious ganster Lawrence Bishnoi admits to plotting Salman Khan murder in 2018

Bishnoi is prime accused in murder case of Sidhu Moosewala

Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, an accused in the murder case of Sidhu Moosewala, has reportedly stated during a probe that he was plotting to kill Salman Khan in 2018, as per the Times of India.

Bishnoi allegedly told officials that his community members will not forgive Salman, unless he "apologises for killing blackbuck", which is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner, Special Cell, Delhi Police confirmed to the outlet, "Something to this extent had come up during the investigation."

Sources further informed, "Sampat Nehra, a key member of the Bishnoi gang went to Mumbai a couple of years back and he stayed there with the intention of killing Salman Khan. When Sampat Nehra was arrested in 2018, he also revealed about the gang's plan to kill Salman Khan. A rifle was also seized from Sampat Nehra which was purchased for this purpose.”

As per a report, Bishnoi allegedly told the police that since Nehra only had a pistol and no long-distance firing weapon, he bought a special rifle worth INR 4 lakh for the purpose of murdering Salman.

Earlier, Delhi Police officials had confirmed that two attempts were made to kill Salman in 2018-19. And just days after Moosewala's murder, Salman and father, Salim Khan, had received a threat letter that read: "Salim Khan, Salman Khan bahot jald aapka Moose Wala hoga..." Mumbai police confirmed Bishnoi gang's involvement in the letter.

A lawyer representing Salman had also claimed he received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. An FIR was filed, and police said they had initiated an investigation into the letter's authenticity.
