Rulers pay no heed to plight of people: Kamal

Kamal advised the people to stop pinning their hopes on the rulers

Pak Sarzameen Party Chairperson Mustafa Kamal

KARACHI:

The Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman, Syed Mustafa Kamal said on Tuesday that rulers are totally indifferent towards the plight of people.

Kamal advised the people to stop pinning their hopes on the rulers.

Talking to the media at Pakistan House, he said, in order to run the current coalition government, the prime minister, army chief, chief justice and all state institutions have given a free hand to PPP in Sindh and people of the province are left at the mercy of PPP.

The world has realised that the economic development of the country is impossible without the development of its cities, but those who run Pakistan are destroying the economic hub - Karachi with their narrow mindedness and prejudice. No new city has been built in 76 years. Karachi is a city that contributes over 60 per cent of the total revenue to the national exchequer. This is the gateway not only to Pakistan but to the whole of Asia. Since the 18th Amendment, Sindh's revenue has increased 800 times.
