Quack held for alleged ‘imprisonment’

A quack and his associates allegedly detained health department staff in his clinic. In the case registered by Deputy District Health Officer Dr Muhammad Shehzad Rana, it was stated that he and his team were inspecting a dental clinic on the day of the incident.

The clinic was reportedly set up illegally by Muhammad Waseem alias Vicky near 229 RB Juranwala Road. Upon arrival, the complainant sought the accused’s degree and diploma to prove he was a qualified dentist. Rather than produce the documentation, the accused called his brother Ali Hassan alias Sunny and three unknown companions to the spot.
