Two brothers held over firing video

They made a video of aerial firing with a rifle and a pistol and uploaded it on social media

Police have detained two brothers who had posted online their videos of firing into the air, roaming in a car with blue flashing lights and using a wireless set.

Action was aso initiated against two police personnel suspected of aiding the suspects impersonating cops.

The police also seized the weapons used in the video.

According to the police, Yeshwa James and his brother Faisal of Dawood Colony had friendships with two personnel of the special and security branches of the force. They put a flashing light on their car, grabbed a wireless set and made a Tiktok video.

They later made a video of aerial firing with a rifle and a pistol and uploaded it on social media.

After the videos went viral, police officers took notice of the matter and ordered Madina Town Police Station SHO Rana Maghfoor to arrest the two brothers. The suspect were arrested and a 12-bore rifle and a 9mm pistol were seized from them.

The police registered a case against them on charges of impersonating government employees, carrying illegal arms and aerial firing.
