From recently announcing her pregnancy to gearing up for her international film debut, actor Alia Bhatt has her hands full. The star recently wrapped up the shoot for her first Hollywood release, Heart of Stone. The actor took to Instagram to share pictures from the sets of the film and share a genuine heartfelt message from the shoot.
In one of the images, Bhatt can be seen giving a warm hug to her co-star Gal Gadot as they pose for a selfie together. Alia captioned her post “Heart of Stone – you have my whole heart. Thank you to the beautiful Gal Gadot, my director Tom Harper and Jamie Dornan missed you today. And the whole team for the unforgettable experience. I will be forever grateful for the love and care I received and I can’t wait for you all to see the film! But for now, I’m coming home baby!" Upon her return to India, Alia will be reuniting with her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has been busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Shamshera.
The Wonder Woman star took to her Instagram stories and gave Alia a shout-out. Calling her an “amazing talent" and a “great person," Gadot asked everyone to show Alia “lots of love".
With Heart of Stone, Bhatt marks her debut in Hollywood alongside Hollywood bigwigs including Gadot, Dornan, Matthias Schweighofer and Sophie Okonedo. Helmed by Harper, the spy thriller is yet to announce a release date. Bhatt had been shooting for the Netflix film in Portugal since May this year.
She is looking forward to the release of her film Brahmastra, a mythological drama, alongside Kapoor. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is set to hit the theatres on September 9 this year.
Last month, Bhatt took to Instagram to reveal she and Kapoor are expecting a baby. She posted an image on Instagram in which she and Kapoor can be seen staring at a sonogram in the hospital, with the screen blurred and a heart emoticon pasted on it. The caption reads, "Our baby. Coming soon.”
