Federal capital: Demo held to demand Seraiki province
'Traditional forces’ against the Seraiki province have united more than ever to impede its creation.

Dozens gathered together for a demonstration in favour of a Seraiki province in front of the National Press Club (NPC) on Sunday.
Speakers said they gathered to appreciate political parties, scholars as well as media who were supporting the Seraiki people by endorsing their demand for the province.
The speakers said that there was an increasing acceptance of the idea of a “Seraiki province”. At the same time, ‘traditional forces’ against the Seraiki province have united more than ever to impede its creation, they added.
Akram Gurmani of Seraiki Lok Sanjh, Safdar Klasra of Seraiki Conference and Mazhar Nawaz of Seraiki Lok Party led the rally.
