LAHORE:

Pakistan Railways has decided to give a 30 percent discount on fares of all trains running across the country on the three days of Eidul Adha.

The discount will be given from July 10 to July 12 at reservation offices and stations, but it will not be available on special trains being run on Eid, rather it will be limited to all trains running on main and branch lines.

The classes being given the 30 percent discount are economy class, AC Parlor, AC Sleeper, AC Business and AC Standard classes.

A regular notification in this regard has been issued to the divisional superintendents and divisional commercial officers of the seven divisions of Pakistan Railways.

The IT department of Pakistan Railways will also be given the concession during the Eid holidays to enable them to travel to their hometown to celebrate the festive occasion with their families.
