Four ways you can amp up your Eid fashion game

From baggy shalwars to breezy kaftans, take cues for some quick and trendy festive outfits

Eidul Azha is only eight days away, which means we’re all scattering to put our Eid looks together. It's difficult enough to decide what to purchase or design but when you're in a time crunch, things become a lot harder.

However, since the forthcoming Eid maybe the first Eidul Azha many of us get to spend with our loved ones in two years, we want to look as good as we feel. That's why we bring to you some outfits to take inspiration from to help you finalise your Eid attires.

From baggy shalwars to kaftans, here are four outfits you can refer to for a quick yet trendy Eid look.

Throwing it back

Bringing back the 70’s retro trend with this short kameez and baggy shalwar, we think this may be the perfect look for the upcoming Eid. It's a simple yet classic look that can be tailored within a few days. Mahira stunned in this outfit from Iqbal Hussain which is a beautiful off-white, off the shoulder kameez with a big shalwar. The cutwork kameez is made of pure organza with bead and mukesh work. The look can be dressed up with a heavier makeup look or kept simple like Mahira’s with a neutral, dewy no-makeup makeup look.

Pop of colour

If you're looking for something a little more colourful, then this simple raspberry coloured outfit will be the perfect inspiration for you. Donned by Ayesha Omar, this Shamsha Hashwani outfit is an effortless yet elegant look that can be re-created easily and in any colour your heart desires. The attire consists of a simple long kameez that is decked up with embroidery work and paired with a tulip shalwar that is also embroidered around the borders. With the addition of a playful dupatta and some pink khussas, the look ties together beautifully.

Pink for the win

Pink seems to be the colour of this year's Eid outfits so if you're looking to stick to the trend, this outfit is ideal. It's a loose fitted three pieces so it's also perfect if you're looking to beat the heat. Actor Ramsha Khan wore this Cross Stitch jacquard shirt with embroidered lace for the placket and shirt hem paired with a cambric shalwar and jacquard dupatta. Since the neck is covered, for jewellery you can pair it with some bold earrings to tie the look together.

The Kaftan

One of our favourite looks, a kaftan is the prime way to look sophisticated and dressy but with the simplest outfit. Maya Ali stunned in this rich maroon coloured kaftan from Maya Pret-A-Porter. It's a silk, floor length kaftan with hand embroidered work that embellishes the sleeves and neck and has short slits on the sides. The outfit is one of convenience and perfect for the summer heat because of its flowy, dress-like nature. Cinching it at the waist is the perfect way to create a flattering look and pairing with some simple makeup, your outfit will be complete.
