12 locations sealed, 15 booked over dengue spread

The divisional administration sealed 12 locations and registered FIRs against 15 persons over violations of dengue SOPs during a regional crackdown launched on Thursday.

In line with special directives of Commissioner Multan Engineer Amir Khattak, the dengue surveillance teams launched a crackdown against SoP violators and issued notices to 3,484 people.

The teams sealed 12 different places and registered FIRs against 15 other violators during the crackdown. According to commissioner office sources, Dr Attaul Rehman led the surveillance teams checking all domestic and commercial locations.

The commissioner directed zero tolerance against violations of SOPs and directed officers concerned to ensure geo tagging through the latest android system.

He urged citizens to cooperate with the administration in controlling the spread of the dengue virus by ensuring cleanliness around them.
