Land dispute claims five lives

Five persons, including a father and son, were killed as a result of indiscriminate firing over a land dispute between the parties in Dhok Roiyan Mughal area of Union Council Malal in Fateh Jang police station Dharnal.

The accused managed to escape. The dead included Abdul Razzaq and his son Arsalan, Dr Ishtiaq son of Imtiaz, Noor Mohammad son of Fateh Mohammad and Sadaqat son of Mohammad Yusuf. The bodies of the deceased were shifted to THQ Hospital Fateh Jang for a post-mortem and later handed over to the hears. Police have registered a case against both the parties under various provisions and launched a search operation to nab the fugitives. DPO Attock Omar Salamat said that various teams have been formed to arrest the fleeing accused.
