Seven killed in Punjab road accidents

Statistics show 229 RTCs were reported in Lahore with 234 victims, placing provincial capital at top of the list

At least seven people died and 964 were injured in 909 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) across all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Of the injured, 545 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 419 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site. The majority of RTCs involved motorbikes.

Further analysis showed that 473 drivers, 28 underage drivers, 104 pedestrians, and 394 passengers were among the victims of RTCs.

The statistics show that 229 RTCs were reported in Lahore with 234 victims, placing the Provincial Capital at top of the list. Faisalabad followed behind with 80 RTCs and 87 victims and Multan at third with 68 RTCs and 73 victims.
