Sindh first to achieve 100% immunisation

The Project Director, Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI), Sindh, has announced that Sindh has emerged with distinction of being the first province in the country having achieved the target of 34.29 million (100 per cent) of eligible population aged 12 years and above as fully immunised against Covid-19 in comparison to Punjab is 86 per cent, KPK 64 per cent, while 7.55 million of them have also received additional booster doses.

According to a handout issued from the Sindh Information Department, achieving the target was possible because of selflessness and dedication on part of thousands of frontline health workers under technical guidance of EPI, with support from NCOC , Federal Ministry of Health, WHO, UNICEF and other partner organisations.
