Clan Clash: Two more slain in karo kari dispute

A karo kari dispute between two groups of the Mahar clan in the Nagoro Mahar village killed two people within the limits of the Mubarakpur police station near Pano Akil on Saturday. The villagers were working on the fields when a group of armed men opened fire on them. A series of gunshots was exchanged between the two groups and resulted in Allah Wasayo Mahar and Mohammad Ishaq Mahar being shot dead. The authorities claim that the bodies were taken to the Pano Akil hospital and no case had been registered when this report was filed. Villagers claim that so far three people have been killed because of the dispute.
