People attack police party to free accused

Fida Hussain and his three sons are allegedly involved in drug trafficking

Area people allegedly attacked the Mominabad police party when they reached the Iranian camp in Orangi Sector 11 to apprehend an absconding accused.

The people tore the uniform of police constable Danish who also suffered minor injuries during the attack.

According to SHO Mominabad, Gul Awan, "A police party had gone to the Iranian camp to arrest Fida Hussain, who was involved in drug trafficking and betting."

Men and women attacked the police party when they arrested Fida Hussain and put him in the police mobile.

The women took the detained suspect away from the mobile van. No female police officers accompanied the police party.

Cops returned to the police station and went back to the camp with the women cops.

Police have apprehended Fida Hussain and his four female accomplices.

A case has been registered against the arrested accused and the women under provisions of assault and attack on police, manhandling police officers, attempting to chase the detained accused, and threatening the police party with dire consequences.

According to Gul Awan, additional SHO had arrested Fida Hussain a few days ago.

The police were attacked at that moment, and the accused was freed from police custody.

Fida Hussain and his three sons are allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

Arrested ladies have been sent to a women's police station.
