PPP to stage protest rallies against Imran’s statement
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh has announced a nationwide protest on Sunday, June 5 against Imran Khan's statement regarding breaking up of the country into three parts and badmouthing against the state institutions.
PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro has said in the party policy statement that the PPP will hold mass rallies in all the district headquarters of Sindh on Sunday in which all responsible leaders of the party in every provincial district, provincial and federal ministers, advisers, special assistants, members of national and provincial assembly and senate, sub-wings and party workers will fully participate.
Khuhro has said that Imran has become a part of the conspiracy of the forces that want Pakistan to be broken. Imran's statements about the country being divided into three parts and Pakistan's armed forces including nuclear assets are a conspiracy and smell of a coup against the country. Therefore, the higher judiciary and institutions should take notice of his statement and take action.
He said that Imran, the rejected leader of the people, was talking of breaking up the country by challenging the institutions to come to power in any case. Therefore, the institutions should break the silence and stop this spectacle of him.
He said that Sindh played a role in building the country and it would not allow any harm to happen to it by playing its role in saving the country. Khuhro said that Imran wanted to do all kinds of damage to the country for the sake of power. He said that despite the judicial assassination of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto, the PPP raised the slogan of "Pakistan Khappay".
