YouTube launched a new feature that will allow users to do more than just stream videos by casting on TV from their phone. By connecting their phones to their TV, they will be able to interact with videos through different activities such as pushing like, subscribe or even writing a comment under a video.

When casting on to the TV, viewers will have to just do it through the YouTube app on their phone rather than use the app installed on the smart TV.

The company said that users will also be able to sync their phone and TV viewing experience with just one click. However, users will need to be logged-in to their account on both their phone and TV to use the feature.

In a blog post, YouTube said that the feature will make it "easier than ever to read video descriptions, leave comments, share the video with a friend, or support your favorite creators by sending a Super Chat or becoming a member."

The company is currently testing new options that will allow users to purchase or explore products that show up in YouTube videos.
