BTS singer Jungkook deletes all Instagram posts, leaves fans confused

Army thinks it’s either a promotional trick for their new album or the musician is upset about something

BTS Army had a confusing start to their week when the South Korean boy band’s singer Jungkook deleted all of his Instagram posts without notice. The sudden erasure from social media concerned fans and they took to Twitter to ask the singer if he is okay. Some even speculated that it is a promotional trick for his upcoming album Proof.

Jungkook reportedly started by deleting some of his photos one by one, and then removed the rest of the footage as well, including photos and videos of himself taken at concerts. By Monday, May 30, the singer’s Instagram account was completely empty, leaving his over 40 million followers in a frenzy.

When a fan suggested that it could be a promotion for his album Proof, a user tweeted, “Doesn’t make sense to delete all of that, including personal photos and videos over a possible collab. It does seem strange. Hope all is ok."

Referring to the album's title track Yet To Come, a fan asked, "No posts yet/ Yet to Come. coincidence? I think not!” Another fan echoed the same. "I wonder if  he is doing what western artists usually do before they release albums. Or did his account get hacked?”

Meanwhile, fans noticed Jungkook's voice in his bandmate J-Hope's Instagram Stories, in which he was saying, "Even when I take pictures of food, there's nothing I do with it." Jungkook, along with his bandmates RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, and V, is currently in Washington, DC for their meeting with the United States President Joe Biden. They are also gearing up for the release of their upcoming album Proof on June 10. Like4:05 am
