Convocation of 2021 batch of LNH Medical College held

'With a humble start of 50 beds, today the hospital is running with 750 beds with modern medical facilities'

Convocation ceremony was held at Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College. As many as 100 successful students of batch 2021 were awarded MBBS degrees to start their career as young doctors.

Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon, Vice Chancellor Jinnah Sindh Medical University was the chief guest.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Prof. Dr. Karimullah Makki, Principal of the medical college welcomed the honourable guests and spoke about brief history of the institution.

Later, he requested the Vice Chancellor to permit the session to further proceed.

The Vice chancellor conferred MBBS degrees on the passing out students.

Addressing on the occasion, the Medical Director of Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College Dr. Salman Faridi advised the young doctors to maintain the integrity of the profession and accept new challenges in the practical life.

He said that a doctor should continue the process of learning to serve the humanity.

Syed Shahid Ali, president board of governors, in his speech, gave a glimpse of the initial days of LNH, which goes back to 1948.

He said with a humble start of 50 beds, today the hospital is running with 750 beds with modern medical facilities, with the team of best doctors and professionals.
