Woman arrested for instigating teen to murder stepmother

Zain had stabbed Azra to death on 13th this month

The Judicial Magistrate West has sent a woman charged with inciting a murder on judicial remand after police completed their interrogation.

The suspect Wariha is nominated in the murder case of a woman, Azra Kamran, who was stabbed to death by her teenage stepson, Zain Kamran. As per the confessional statement of Zain, it was Wariha who had incited him to kill his stepmother.

The judicial magistrate at City Court Karachi heard the murder case of Azra who was reportedly killed by her stepson Zain in the Saudabad area of Malir on Friday the 13th, a teenage was arrested for stabling his stepmother with a kitchen knife while she was praying at their home near RCD Ground in Saudabad.

The investigating officer told the court that the teenage had confessed to his crime during the investigation and stated that his next-door neighbour Wariha had instigated him to murder his stepmother. After his confession, police arrested Wariha.

During the hearing in court, the accused Zain confessed before the court that Wariha incited him to murder his stepmother. He said that Wariha wanted to marry his father after the death of his biological mother and she was saddened when my father married my stepmother Azra Kamran.

The accused Wariha was sent to jail on judicial remand by the court. According to the police, Kamran said that his son had stabbed his stepmother to death. Kamran told the police that Zain used to fight with Azra daily. "It was the youngest son's birthday, Azra gave him money to go buy a cake for your brother, instead he bought a knife and killed her while she was offering Asar prayers," Kamran said in his statement before the court.
