Police arrest man for killing wife

Police on Sunday arrested a man on charge of killing his wife with the help of his parents. A woman who went missing in Nawabshah 10 days ago was found killed on Saturday with her body packed in a gunny sack.

As per the victim’s parents, her in-laws did not allow them to meet their daughter, Nazeeran Marri and regularly tortured her.

The SHO Habibur Rehman informed the media persons that they have arrested slain Nazeeran Mari’s husband Reham Hussain Mari, father in law Riaz Hussain Mari and mother in law Zameeran Mari in connection with the murder.

According to him, Nazeeran was killed and packed in a gunny bag which was thrown in a water pond. He told the media that her father Niaz Hussain Mari had earlier filed a petition in the district and session court, complaining that her daughter’s in-laws were not letting him and his family meet her.

He said the suspects will be produced before a judicial magistrate on Monday for acquiring their physical remand for interrogation.
