Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz on Sunday issued orders for making functional the MRI and other essential equipment at the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital in Gujrat.

During a visit to the hospital after arriving in the city, he also issued instructions to fully functionalise the Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology.

The chief minister visited various wards, enquired after the patients and asked them about the availability of medical facilities and provision of medicines.

He issued instructions to the hospital administration an elderly woman admitted to the surgical ward.

The chief minister also talked to patients and their attendants in the neurosurgery ward and trauma centre.
