Literati trace history of Pashto literature

QUETTA:

A three-day international literary seminar was held at Pashto Academy Quetta which was attended by literati from Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Afghanistan in large numbers.

The topic of the seminar was Pashto literature, history and culture. The event was attended by female writers too.

Balochistan Additional Secretary Home Muhammad Hashim Ghalzai inaugurated the seminar and talked about the history of Pashto literature, language and Pakhtun culture.

The first session of the day was presided over by Professor Dr Waqir Ali Shah and it was attended by Dr Faqir Muhammad Faqir as chief guest.

The second session was presided over by Abdul Karim Baryali and Dr Ali Kambil Kazalbash addressed the participants. It may be recalled that Pashto Academy Quetta has held such seminars in the past too.
