Imran only has himself to blame for ouster from power: Kamal

Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Sunday took former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to task for his "failure to take any step for Karachi's uplift", and said he had only himself to blame for ouster from power.
"Imran Khan should have apologised to the people of Karachi for not taking any step for their wellbeing," Kamal told a political gathering held at Bagh-e-Jinnah this evening.
But, he added, when Imran did not apologise to the people of the metropolis, then Karachi decided that it won't be deceived anymore.
Imran, he maintained, did not honour his promises made with the city in 2018 when he came into power.
According to the PSP chief, former premier had failed in both tests of the Almighty; patience and tolerance.
Commenting on a large following of the PTI chairman, Kamal said a lot of tyrants in the history also had massive following.

Questioning Imran's stance on several issues concerning religious sentiments, the PSP chief said the former was basically in love with being in power.
"If Imran was in reality anti-American, he would bring Dr Aafia Siddiqui back to the country," he remarked.
Kamal also criticised Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari for partnering with "corrupt MQM", warning him to not mistaken PSP for MQM.
He also vowed to eliminate quota system once and for all if given the mandate to abolish the same.
