Meeting Deferred: ANP undecided about coalition fate
The Awami National Party (ANP) has deferred its decision.
ISLAMABAD:
The Awami National Party (ANP) has deferred its decision, on whether or not to discontinue its alliance with the government in the centre and in Sindh, for a couple of weeks. The party is yet to assert its move in protest against the revival of the local bodies system in Sindh. A meeting of ANP’s central executive committee was scheduled to take place on Tuesday but has now been moved to August 28, allowing party leaders to carefully assess the unfolding situation in Karachi before taking any step.
