It has an exciting premise, and where its character is placed in prison for a crime, she didn't commit—although she had committed plenty of others. The novel encompasses Grace, who is like an anti-hero, where her traits and personality are deplorable yet vengeful. It is this vengefulness that pushes this novel and coupled with Grace's dark humour, you find a story that is whimsical as it is sinister.
