KARACHI:

The Karachi Police have released a performance report which claims that the number of street crimes in the city has decreased in a month.

The report released by the Karachi Police for the last two months - March and April - claimed that Central, City, East, Keamari, Korangi, Malir, South and West districts of the city recorded a decline in the incidents of street crimes. According to the data, a total of 4,534 mobile phones were snatched during the said period in which 2,416 mobile phones were reportedly snatched in March and 2,118 in April.

Similarly, a total of 417 vehicles were stolen and snatched during the last two months.

In the month of March, 16 vehicles were snatched and 206 were stolen. In April, 12 vehicles were snatched and 183 were stolen.
