Children’s quarrel turns into an adult clash

Many injured as people use firearms, sticks and sharp-edged instruments

Three people were injured when children's quarrel turned into big clash of adult groups in Machhar Colony, within Docks police limits.

According to SHO Pervez Solangi, Pathans and Bengali children were playing together in the evening when a quarrel broke out.

Their elders also came out and a big fight took place between them.

Police reached the scene and calmed them down but they started fighting again at night using firearms, sticks and sharp edge instruments as a result 30-year-old Ashraf, son of Muhammad Yar, and 22-year-old Iman Hussain sustained bullet injuries while 25-year-old Khan Wali was injured due to attack with a sharp edge instrument.

No arrest has been made. Police are investigating.

Four injured in altercation

Four people were injured in the altercation between two groups at Asia Market of Korangi No. 6 in the Landhi police station area.

Angry people vandalised three tea shops and damaged a rickshaw.

Tension gripped the area after the incident.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

CCTV footage has come to light, and police have registered a case.
