A teenage girl was allegedly kidnapped and then raped in Dijkot. The complainant, a resident of Samundari Road 263 RB, told the police that some accused kidnapped her 16-year-old daughter and took her to an unknown place where one of the accused raped her.
The police registered a case under Sections 365 and 376-B and mounted a search for the accused. In a separate incident, an unidentified accused kidnapped a teenage boy.
Police said that complainant Sheikh Nadeem Ahmed, a resident of Razaabad, stated that his 13-year-old son, Ahmad Mujtaba, had been on his way home with his friends after taking a dip in a pool when an unidentified person on a motorcycle posing himself as a police officer kidnapped his son.
Razaabad police registered a case under Section 363 of the PPC and mounted a search for the teenager.
