Promotion of employees of different depts notified

The scale of higher education department caretaker has upgraded from 8 to 11

RAWALPINDI:

The Punjab government has upgraded the scale of several employees of fisheries, forest and wildlife and other departments.

A notification of the up-gradation of the employees has been issued.

According to the notification, fisheries, forests and wildlife departments will work together in the future to stop the illegal hunting of wildlife, animals and fish and the illegal cutting of timber in forests across Punjab. The three departments will also be provided weapons, motorcycles and walkie-talkies to carry out the task. The scale of head wildlife watcher has been upgraded from 7 to 9, the post of wild watcher has also been upgraded from 5 to 9 as head watcher while the scale of wildlife inspector has been upgraded from 9 to 11.

Similarly, the scale of the home department warder has been increased from 5 to 7, and the scale of the chief warder has been upgraded from 9 to 11. The head warder scale has been upgraded from 7 to 9 and the religious teacher scale has been upgraded from 12 to 15.

The scale of higher education department caretaker has upgraded from 8 to 11 and the scale of supervisor has been upgraded from 9 to 11.

Similarly, the scale of physical training instructors has been upgraded from 8 to 9 and the scale of telephone operators has been upgraded from 7 to 11. The scale of drivers has been upgraded from 4 to 5.

Meanwhile, All Pakistan Clerks Association Central Vice President Shehzad Manzoor Kayani, Divisional President Chaudhry Mubashir and Raja Aftab welcomed the up-gradation and said that it would improve the performance of different departments.

They demanded that all ad hoc allowances should be merged with the basic salary and salaries should be increased by 100 in the upcoming budget.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has approved recruitment against 1,000 vacant positions in different government departments.
