Pakistanis are very kind: Korean YouTuber Daud Kim sings praises while visiting Lahore
After his visit to Saudi Arabia, Korean YouTuber Daud Kim has arrived in Pakistan! From the looks of his Instagram stories, it appears that the content creator is having a great time in Lahore. Kim, who converted to Islam three years ago, shared a picture of a flight ticket from Jeddah to Lahore, writing alongside it, “Two hours to get the ticket but Alhamdulillah I’m going,” adding several Pakistani flag and heart emojis.
In his next story, the YouTuber shared a picture of himself while enroute to Pakistan, writing in Urdu, “Mera intezar karo. Mujhe tumse pyar hai Pakistan. [Wait for me, I love you Pakistan]".
He later shared snaps of his first Iftar in the country, posting pictures of his cup of chai, writing, “Mein aaj Pakistan pohoncha. Woh bohot meherbaan hain. Mujhe lagta hai keh mujhe Pakistan se pyaar ho jaye ga. [I reached Pakistan today. They are all very kind. I think I’m going to fall in love with Pakistan].”
Kim also posted a selfie with the caption, “Mein Pakistani pajama pehenna chahta hun. [I want to wear Pakistani pyjamas],” possibly referring to his desire to wear shalwar-kameez.
The YouTuber also reposted a news article by a local publication about his arrival in Pakistan, writing, “Yes, I came to Pakistan. I am so happy,” adding in Urdu, “Bohot bohot shukriya. Mein tumse pyaar karta hun. [Thank you so much. I love you].”
Kim recently performed Umrah, posting a series of pictures of himself in Ahram at the Kaaba and a clip of the surroundings. In 2020, formerly known as Jay Kim, Daud made a surprise announcement on his social media that he decided to change his faith to Islam. It was after that he changed his name from Jay to Daud.
