Another girl disappears in city
A grade 10 student mysteriously disappeared from her house in the Saudabad area of Malir. The mother of a missing teenage girl suspects that a Lahore resident abducted her daughter. On April 20, 2022, Nimrah Kazmi, daughter of Nargis and Muhammad Nadeem, who live near RCD Ground in Malir's Saudabad area, mysteriously disappeared from her house. Nargis, the mother of the missing teenager, told The Express Tribune that she was a health worker.
"I went to work at 8:30 in the morning on the day of the incident. Two hours later I called my daughter, but she did not answer the phone, and after a while, when I called again, her mobile was switched off. When I came home, my daughter was not there. “I called all of Nimrah's friends and her cousins and asked them about her, but none of them had any information about her whereabouts. “After that, I went to the concerned police station and registered a case of my daughter's abduction.
However, even after four days passed, no significant progress has been made in the investigation," she said. Nargis added that Nimrah had mentioned a young man named Shah Rukh and said he was sending a marriage proposal two months ago. "I opposed giving her hand in marriage to Shah Rukh because her education was incomplete. I told Nargis, complete your education first, then we will get you married," she said. "I suspect that Shah Rukh might have abducted my daughter," Nargis told the police. Nargis said she contacted Shah Rukh and his mother to inquire if Nimrah was at their house, but they replied negatively. The teenage girl's mother gave Shah Rukh's mobile number to the police officer to help the investigation.
SP Shah Faisal Colony Wajahat Hussain told The Express Tribune that the cases of Dua Kazmi, who was abducted from Al-Falah, and Nimrah are two separate incidents, and there is a considerable difference between the two incidents. He said the police had launched an investigation to look into every aspect of the incident.
The SP said that we would recover Nimrah soon in response to a question. The district police will investigate the case. Nimrah's mother has appealed to the Sindh Chief Minister, IG Sindh, Karachi Police Chief and other officers to rescue her daughter. On April 16, Dua Kazmi, a seventh-grade student, was abducted by unknown suspects outside her home in the Golden Town area of Al-Falah. She has not been found even after nine days.
An anonymous police officer said that the family members are also hiding some facts from the police. He said that someone made a ransom call after their daughter was abducted. The police checked the numbers given by the family members, and after apprehending and interrogating the suspects, it turned out that they were innocent and did not even know Dua.
The parents said their daughter is a seventh-grader. However, when the police took the school records, they found out that Dua Kazmi did not come to the school after third grade.
