Osman Khalid Butt shares a list of his favourite AR Rahman tracks

From 'Agar Tum Saath Ho' to 'Jiya Jale', the actor's list includes several hits as well a few underrated songs

There are few singers that are as widely loved as AR Rahman! His music is known to transcend borders and is as loved by Pakistanis as it is by Indians. The composer has many famous fans, with the newest addition to the list being actor Osman Khalid Butt. Responding to a tweet asking people about their favourite songs by Rahman, OKB treated his fans to a list of his chosen tracks.

His selection included the fan-favourite song Agar Tum Saath Ho performed by Arijit Singh and Alka Yagnik for the film Tamasha, as well as Jiya Jale from Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film Dil Se.

OKB tweeted, “Tu Hi Re, Satrangi Re, Chupke Se, Jiya Jale, Ruth Aa Gayi Re, Kehna Hi Kya, Agar Tum Saath Ho, Hai Rama, Dola Dola, Chanda Re, Mai Albeli - okay this is quite impossible I'm just going to end up listing most of his work.

He added in a separate tweet, “I have a whole list of some of his deep(er) cuts I was/still am obsessed with.”

Recently, actor Adnan Siddiqui also shared a fan moment with the celebrated composer. The Mom star, who was in Dubai for Dubai Expo 2020, posted a selfie of the two. He penned, "It was an evening not to be forgotten ever." The Sammi star then shared how he had booked his flight back home on December 21 but then decided to stay back for Rahman's live performance.
