Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) lawmaker and Provincial Minister for Communication and Works, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, has strongly condemned the statement of Federal Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif about the Balochistan government.
“Khawaja Asif has no right to interfere and use foul language against the government of Balochistan,” Sardar Khetran said during the Balochistan Assembly session on Tuesday.
The session of the provincial assembly resumed with Qadir Nayal, a member of panel of chairpersons, in the chair. The house discussed issues relating to Balochistan and adopted various bills including one relating to the Balochistan universities.
“This house condemns the language used by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader,” Khetran said.
It may be recalled that the federal minister in his stormy speech in the national assembly had lashed out at the present Balochistan government. While referring to the provincial government Asif said ‘can we call it a government’. He also leveled serious allegations about the formation of Balochistan government and termed it ‘illegitimate’.
Former chief minister, Jam Kamal Khan also took to social media network Twitter and expressed his views. “BAP does not own this government,” Jam Kamal said.
He said some federal ministers, senators and contractors at that time had played a role in overthrowing his government.
