Two 'most wanted' terrorists killed in DI Khan operation
Two most wanted terrorists were killed during a joint operation of the Pakistan Army and intelligence agencies in Dera Ismail Khan's Kolachi area.
As per details, the killed terrorists — identified as Khalil and Ahsan aka Deva — were involved in attacks using improvised explosive devices (IED), targeting polio teams and extortion.
The operation was conducted between April 15 to 16 on a tip-off. Khalil was an expert in making suicide jackets and local-made landmines. Two machine guns and four hand grenades were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

The terrorists were involved in a number of terrorist activities including the martyrdom of five police officials on April 11.
Five policemen were killed when two police mobiles were ambushed by militants in Kulachi tehsil of DI Khan Monday night.
Police told The Express Tribune that around 10 O’clock Monday night miscreants opened fire at two police vehicles in which five policemen were martyred and DSP Fazal Subhan was injured.
“Four vehicles were on patrol in the area and SHO as well DSP were also with them when the attack happened,” he said.

“The attackers fired at the vehicles and used RPG-7 shoulder-fired rockets after which one mobile caught fire as a result five policemen lost their lives. Some were burnt to death,” he added.
“Head constable Kamran, Constable Meerz Ali, Constable Jameshed, Constable Munawar and driver Constable Abdur Rehman are among the dead,” he said, adding that DSP Fazal Subhan was also injured in the attack.
The last rites of the deceased policemen were offered at police lines in DI Khan with a full guard of honour. Later the coffins were sent to the ancestral graveyards for burial.
