JI files petition against land mafia

Jamaat-e-Islami District East filed a petition on behalf of allottees against the illegal occupation of lands of Mehmoodul Haq Cooperative Housing Society on Friday.

The petition was reportedly filed through Advocate Usman Farooq. According to details, the petition argued that there are about 4,800 allottees in different sectors of the society, which were established in 2005, while in Sector 48A, the builders’ mafia was allowed to carry out illegal occupation through manipulation.

JI will fight a court battle and will be the voice of all the oppressed allottees, claimed petitioner Qutub Ahmed. The Sindh government should refrain from hostility towards Karachi.
