Misha Lakhani Islamabad store now open
Misha Lakhani expands its commercial outreach by opening a flagship store in the capital city, Islamabad. Similar to the label’s flagship stores in Karachi and Lahore, this new boutique is sure to offer its customers the quintessential Misha Lakhani experience. The store houses the brand’s pret, occasion wear, unstitched and bridal collections, reflective of the designer’s immaculate reinterpretation of traditional silhouettes and age-old hand-crafted techniques.
There is a separate section dedicated to Miraka, showcasing its wondrous artisanal feats and designs. Miraka offers everyday styles that transcend seasons and become timeless staples in your armoire. The new store launch also coincides with Miraka’s Eid Edit 2022 launch, which is on display and available for purchase. The much-awaited collection comprises easy silhouettes, tactile embroideries and porous fabrics that make for romantic contemplations and festive celebrations.
The third standalone Misha Lakhani boutique in Pakistan is centrally located within the bustling commercial area of F8 Markaz, right beside Ensemble Islamabad. Yousaf Shahbaz of Strata has effortlessly encapsulated the brand’s philosophy in the store design that welcomes its shoppers to a clutter-free serene space.
Embodying the feminine, relaxed and timeless brand aesthetic of Misha Lakhani and Miraka, the store walks us through whitewashed and greige spaces, chevron wooden floors and handmade plaster mountings showcasing the handy work of local craftsmanship. Vivid colours stand alone throughout in its furnished decor, contrasting itself against the neutral fixtures.
Describing the philosophy behind the interior, Misha explained, “we wanted to do a store which is reflective of the brand ethos for both ML and Miraka, encompasses all our lines, and where people can sip a cup of tea and get lost in the atmosphere. It is a beautiful space and I hope people will enjoy it.”
