Muted magic: Saba Qamar turns head with promotional looks

Playing with neutral tones, the actor stuns in shiny, florals and classic ensembles

It seems like Saba Qamar is here to dominate our screens this year, not just for her acting prowess but also for her striking sense of style and sartorial choices.

The 38-year-old actor, popular both in Pakistan and in India, is currently harbouring praises for her recent OTT web series titled Mrs. & Mr. Shameem. Before people could get over Umaina’s character from the series, Qamar already has two projects announced to be released in the near future; Saqib Khan’s Ghabrana Nahi Hai and Sarmad Khoosat’s Kamli, and rumours are that there’s more to come.

Qamar has started promotions for her comical Eid release, Ghabrana Nahi Hai, and we’re in love with the contemporary elegant outfits so far and are waiting with bated breath to see what’s more to come! While all of them are different, one thing in common is muted neutral tones at the base. However, the stylist has definitely not limited themselves to playing with classic plain suits. There are hints of three-tone hues, sequins, floral patterns, lace belts, flowy nets and so much more, her outfits are as multifaceted as her acting this year.

This one’s definitely setting trends for the upcoming fashion season!

1. Androgynous power suit

Qamar chose a muted grey blazer with matching high waisted flared bottoms and a crisp classic white button-down to go with it. The power suit was loose-fitted but hugged her shoulders perfectly. She kept her hair open in a middle parting and her makeup neutral so it’s the outfit that does the talking. Adding a little sparkle to a dull base, she added a cross-body tiny gold handbag and gold hoops to the mixture. Androgynous suits are all the rave nowadays and Qamar pulled it off like no one else. What a bold start!

2. Shine on, rockstar!

Next on the list is a little bling from our desi girl! Qamar donned an ankle-length three-tone kurta by Elan that went from a sparkly silver to a rosy gold to dull gold. The outfit was paired with a matching dupatta, gold trousers, and sparkly gold and silver heels. Completing the outfit with a sleek hairdo, she opted for large snake-shaped silver earrings to go. The Baaghi actor opted for a smoky eye to elevate the look.

3. Flowing with the florals

One can never go wrong with bold floral patterns but this one styled retro floral designs to be a hit again! A white net blouse with a halter neck slip is paired with satin white pants. The whole outfit is tied with a large dupatta with a bold floral pattern in hues of purple, all tied in an almost sari look with a delicate white laced belt. To top off the look, the dupatta has large tassels on its ends. How creative to merge major design elements from the 80s and assemble a contemporary look!
