Two held for murder of couple, their daughter
Lohi Bher police have arrested two accused involved in the blind murder of a couple and their minor daughter.
One of the arrested suspects was said to be the father of the victim woman, Saba Ehtisham.
According to police, the bodies of Ehtesham Sabir, Saba Ehtesham and their six-month-old Ezhtam Ehtesham were found from a ditch in Bhara Kahu on February 27.
The couple and their minor daughter were murdered after tying their hands and feet with ropes. According to the police, a case (22/272) had been registered at the Lohi Bher Police Station on a complaint of plaintiff Mohammad Sabir, the father of victim Ehtisham Sabir. The complainant had stated that the phone number of his son Ehtisham Sabir and his daughter-in-law Saba Ehtisham was going switched off.
According to the police, the complainant had doubted that his son, daughter-in-law and his granddaughter had been abducted.
After the complaint was lodged, the police team obtained CDR of phone numbers of the victims and investigated the case with the help of modern technology. Police arrested Mohammad Haider, a resident Asghar Mal Chowk, who, revealed that he along with the accused (Mahar Hussain, the father of the victim woman) slaughtered the three before dumping the bodied in the ditch.
