"You rule! What a great accomplishment, Arooj Aftab," the celebrated designer shared on Instagram. He went on to add, "Team Hussain Rehar congratulates you for making history by being the first-ever Pakistani artist to score the prestigious Grammy Award. I cannot express how thrilled I was to design this quintessential sherwani for her, which is inspired by her very own album ‘Vulture Prince’."

Detailing how the outfit came together, Rehar revealed, "The artwork on it looks like a trippy motif from afar but if you look closely it is constructed with different sized birds intricately embellished and put together with sequin, thread and mukesh detailing in various colours."

He further shared, "It was created in about 350 working hours with keen attention and precision. And I must say, she absolutely rocked this look! Wishing her great luck and success in the future! Once again, Congratulations on your well-deserved success."

Born to Pakistani parents in Saudi Arabia, Arooj spent her teenage years in Lahore before relocating to Boston's prestigious Berklee School of Music to study music production and engineering.
