Why risk your child’s life when you don’t have to: Shaniera schools followers on road safety

Shaniera Akram has always been a staunch advocate for children’s road safety, making it a point to educate her followers about the correct way to travel with kids. The activist took to social media once again on Tuesday to urge her audience to take child safety more seriously, sharing a series of screenshots from a YouTube video depicting the dangers of leaving children without seatbelts.

Sharing the post, Shaniera wrote, “I counted 70 cars in Defence this morning. Sixty-four of them had children in the car without belts. Cars that HAVE seatbelts in them.” She continued, “Why would anyone ever be stupid enough to risk their child’s life when travelling in a car if they didn’t have to?”
