Osman Khalid Butt and Ayeza Khan's famous Ramazan rom-com, Chupke Chupke, became the talk of the town last year for its star-studded cast and relatable storyline. While Ayeza Khan has returned with yet another Ramazan project with famous actor Imran Ashraf, Butt has taken a break this year.
However, he recently shared that he is still missing the buzz. "Not going to lie, kind of missing the Chupke Chupke meme game and discourse here on Twitter," the Balu Mahi star penned on Twitter.
Ngl, kinda missing the Chupke Chupke meme game & discourse here on Twitter.

Chupke chupke was onemof a kind. This year it feels like a bheer chaaal. Already two dramas of exactly the same theme as chupke chupke are on air on the verry same humtv. Baki channels ka filhal pata nai. Kinda boring i'd say.

Been watching Chupke Chupke again & have noticed that every time I watch it, I see something for the first time. Maybe that’s what happens with an ensemble cast drama- there’s so much going on at once. SO interesting. So much fun. ❤️ 1/2

Chupke Chupke was legit. And so was Ishq Jalebi. Missing them this year too as this years dramas appear to be just remakes of last years 🤷🏻♀️

In an interview with The Express Tribune, director Danish Nawaz spoke about his directorial that made waves last year.
"When we started shooting for Chupke Chupke, our goal wasn't to make something better than Suno Chanda but the result has been very fulfilling," he had shared. "The drama is written by the same playwright, Saima Akram Chaudhry, hence one would think it had similar tropes. However, I wholeheartedly believe that a massive responsibility also sits on the director's shoulders. Since it was a rom-com, I was in my comfort zone. I know the genre, I know comedy. That's why it turned out to be so special."
"Getting Obi and Ayeza to play Meenu and Faazi was a unanimous decision,” said Danish. “They are always well-prepared, as any actor should be. At the end of the day, this too is a job. Its art but it requires the same dedication - if not more - like any other profession" Danish continued
