Six members appointed to FPSC

ISLAMABAD:

President Arif Alvi appointed four members and two additional members to the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), said a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Wednesday.

Among the four newly-appointed members, Akbar Hussain Durrani, Yasmeen Masood and Dr Tanveer Ahmad Qureshi – all retired Grade-22 officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service – have been appointed for three years, the notification said.

It added that the newly-appointed FPSC member Zahid Nasrullah would take charge on August 15 after his retirement. Currently, Nasrullah was a Grade 22 officer in the Foreign Service of Pakistan, the notification added.

Besides, the notification said, Dr Akhtar Nazir Warraich and Khawaja Dawood Ahmad – both retired Grade-22 officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service – have been appointed as additional members of the FPSC for a period of one year.
