PTI leader assures good innings for PM Imran

Says Sindh ministers are too busy selling their collective conscience

KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh Assembly parliamentary leader Khurram Sher Zaman said the province is going through a lot of problems at present, but Imran Khan, who he referred to as the "kaptaan", is standing firm against "these three rats".

"I tell allies ghabrana nahi or not to panic. The Kaptan will hit a six on the last ball," Zaman said. PTI members Dr Imran Shah, Shehzad Qureshi and Adnan Ismail were also present on the occasion.

Zaman further said that in view of the political situation, the prime minister will eventually be successful. "The people are optimistic about the prime minister's performance," he claimed. Zaman further said that all the ministers of the province are currently sitting in Sindh House to "sell their conscience".

He added that departments of Sindh have been locked for 21 days. "I want to tell the people of Sindh that Sindh ministers for education, excise, local government and others are sitting in Islamabad with sacks of money. This is the money that was to be spent on the people of Sindh."

He alleged that Sindh officials and ministers are squandering the province's money to sell their own consciences.

Taking his party leader's side, Zaman continued that Imran Khan fought the global epidemic of the coronavirus. "He adopted the policy of smart lockdown which was appreciated by the whole world. Overseas Pakistanis sent money to the country.

As a result of Imran Khan's efforts, March 15 was declared the International Day against Islamophobia in the United Nations."

Zaman said that the session of Sindh Assembly was being repeatedly postponed by the speaker. "The meeting has a pre-budget session in which more schemes in public interest are presented.
