TTP’s Abdul Wahab Larak killed in Afghanistan

Terrorist involved in attack in 2015 on Shikarpur imambargah in which 53 people were martyred

Abdul Wahab Larak, a terrorist most-wanted by Pakistan, was killed in Afghanistan.

The slain terrorist identified as Abdul Wahab Lark alias Hakeem Ali Jan, alias Hakeem Saleh, alias Khushi Muhammad, alias Gypsy Kandahar was involved in various acts of terrorism.

The terrorist belonged primarily to the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Usman Saifullah Kurd group, and was involved in numerous terrorist activities throughout the country, especially in Sindh.

He joined the TTP along with his other associates in August 2020, and at that time he was the amir of the banned TTP Sindh and was on the CTD Sindh's list of most-wanted terrorists. His name was also mentioned in the Red Book.

The report on the terrorist states that he carried out a suicide attack on January 30, 2015 at an imambargah in Shikarpur in which 53 innocent people were martyred and 57 others were injured.

He planned attacks on Army Aviation Base and PAF Base Samangali 20 in Quetta.

He was involved in targeted killings of Shias. He was involved in a number of terrorist activities in North Waziristan, while at the time he was planning to carry out suicide attacks in Karachi.
