106 new Covid-19 cases reported in Punjab

Punjab health department has thus far conducted 10,382,638 tests

LAHORE:

Another 106 cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab during the last 24 hours. According to data shared by a Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) spokesperson, the number of coronavirus cases recorded in the province reached 504,095, with 13,539 deaths and 485,826 recoveries.

The P&SHD confirmed 68 cases in Lahore, one in Bahawalnagar, three in Bahawalpur, three in Dera Ghazi Khan, six in Faisalabad, one in Gujrat, one in Kasur, one in Khanewal, four in Multan, one in Muzaffargarh, one in Nankana Sahib, seven in Rawalpindi, three in Rahimyar Khan, 1 in Sahiwal, two in Sargodha, one in Sheikhupura, one in Toba Tek Singh and 1 in Sialkot.

The Punjab health department has thus far conducted 10,382,638 tests. The health department urged the masses to follow SOPs for their protection and wear masks, in addition to washing their hands with soap several times a day to protect themselves from Covid-19. The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) announced lifting all Covid-19 restrictions imposed across Pakistan on Wednesday.

The NCOC, in its daily tally, stated that Pakistan had observed 493 fresh cases of Covid in the past 24 hours.
