Man arrested for leaking exam papers

FIA conducted a successful raid in Lahore

Police arrested an individual for alleged fraud after he was caught providing answers for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) exam through social media.

FIA Circle in-charge Cyber Crime wing Syed Arshad Ali Rizvi, was informed that the accused, Qaiser Iqbal, circulated answers to the ICAP exam over social media, enabling students to cheat on the online exams, compromising the results. On the orders of FIA Circle in-charge Rizvi, Assistant Director FIA Cyber Crime Asif Nazir, conducted a successful raid in Lahore, where law enforcement personnel arrested Qaiser and examination materials were recovered from his possession.

While in custody, Qaiser confessed to his crimes of fraud and forgery. According to FIA sources, cybercrime teams are also trying to identify the students who benefited from the information and answers provided by Qaiser and arrest them.
