Twitter is loving Farhan Saeed’s character transformation in ‘Mere Humsafar’

The in-laws may be cruel to Hala but Hamza is there to protect her against all evils and take a stand for their love

The new ship in town is that of Farhan Saeed and Hania Aamir’s characters in the Qaseem Ali Mureed directorial Mere Humsafar, and it’s sailing quite well! The beginning of the family drama showed Hania’s character Hala escaping hell at home only to find another trial waiting for her at her in-laws. Hala’s luck has been compromised since the beginning with all kinds of neglect, betrayal and abuse inflicted upon her. However, netizens took a sigh of relief as Farhan’s character Hamza entered the picture as her knight in shining armour.

Now, the intense drama has reached a point where Hamza may marry Hala and Twitter is celebrating the end of Hala’s misery. However, as they applaud Farhan’s character for doing better than the bare minimum required from men, they’re also heaping praises for Hania’s leading lady for standing up for herself with or without a man’s presence.

What initially seemed like a typical drama series showcasing selfish in-laws, abusive relationships after marriage and cheating has now been sort of saved by Hamza’s gentle behaviour. A fan took to the microblogging site to share that she started watching the show as a “guilty pleasure” but it has now turned into a “high point in her life.”

Here’s what netizens think of Hamza’s character transformation, his chemistry with Hala and what may lie in store for them.
