Imran’s ‘threats’ are ‘signs of nervousness’, says Maryam
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President on Thursday took Prime Minister Imran Khan to task, saying that his “threats” were “signs of nervousness”, and told him to avoid blaming his “failures” on the opposition or other countries.
She reminded the PM that his “empty threats” are useless now.
In her tweet, she said that a person who has no knowledge of history or geography, neither understands foreign policy or diplomatic relations, nor has he come to power to govern or solve the problems of the people, would have done what Prime Minister Imran did in his four years of government.
She added that the PM has “destroyed” Pakistan internally, and isolated it externally. “Who is better than you for our enemies in the world,” she asked. “Do not panic when you see your end, stop the drama, this day was to come, open your eyes and see.”
The PML-N VP said that the premier’s “provocations”, “threats” and “abuse” were signs of nervousness. She added that the premier has thrown Pakistan into destruction, with poverty, inflation, unemployment on the rise. She further said that the nation has paid a very heavy price for his “incompetence”, “ignorance” and “playfulness”. Therefore, Maryam said, there is no more room for this.
She also pointed out that the remnants of PM Imran’s party were falling apart, and the opposition was not responsible for this, and it was not a domestic or foreign conspiracy. Rather, she added, it was the premier’s own fault, because of his “dirty language”, “arrogance”, “pride”, and “disrespect” to his party’s own members.
She further said that “it is too late now”.
“Your empty threats are useless,” she added.
