CBD earns Rs34.89 billion through auction

Downtown has already shown its significance due to its ideal location in the heart of Lahore

The Lahore Central Business Development Authority (LCBDDA) achieved another milestone by auctioning seven mixed-used commercial plots in the country’s first planned downtown, ‘Lahore Downtown’ for Rs34.89 billion.

The LCBDDA, also known as the Central Business District Punjab (CBD), Thursday, organised a grand auction for seven mixed-used commercial plots ranging between 12 and 14 kanals with favourable bylaws and five years instalment plan.

As per auction results, Pothar Developers bagged Lahore Downtown 1 for Rs6.5 billion, Nova Group secured Lahore Downtown 2 for Rs5.1 billion, Onyx Developers won Lahore Downtown 3 for Rs4.08 billion, Kingdom Valley grabbed Lahore Downtown 4 for Rs3.6 billion and Lahore Downtown 5 for Rs4.2 billion, Grand Arc Builders won Lahore Downtown 6 bid for Rs5.28 billion and ASC Constructors secured Lahore Downtown 7 for Rs6.14 billion.

All these seven commercial plots were sold for staggering Rs34.89 billion.

Downtown has already shown its significance due to its ideal location in the heart of Lahore.
